At the first season’s (Blood and Sand) actor in the lead role(Spartacus) was Australian, Andy Whitfield (1971). However at the third season’s (War of the Damned) Spartacus is Australian, Liam McIntyre(1982). The changing reason was Andy Whitfield’s disease.
